BOOKS Anthology on Mindanao plays wins National Book Award "Mga Piling Dulang Mindanao" is a recipient of the NATIONAL BOOK AWARD (UST Publishing House, 2007) for BEST ANTHOLOGY from the MANILA CRITICS CIRCLE and the NATIONAL BOOK DEVELOPMENT BOARD. The editor, Dr. Arthur P. Casanova, shares the honors with Mindanaon playwrights whose plays have been anthologized in the said book: Melchor Morante (a.k.a Karl Gaspar), Steve Fernandez, Romeo Narvaez, Felimon Blanco, Geejay Arriola and Malou Tiangco, Marili Fernandez and Ma. Theresa Opaon, and Frank G. Rivera.
