IPAG caps US tour in Kennedy Center dance fest

The Integrated Performing Arts Guild (IPAG), resident cultural company of the MSU-Iligan Institute of Technology, wraps its 2006 road tour of the United States with a performance at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. IPAG represents the Philippines in the DC Dance Festival, an event the Kennedy Center (one of America's finest performing arts venues) hosts.

It also highlights the 28th International Folk Festival of Fayetteville, North Carolina, where 70,000 persons representing 30 countries are attending. This festival is rated among the top 20 events in the Southeastern U.S. where diversity and cultural tradition are the themes. This year's host is the Philippines.

In its 11th full-feature show at the Philippine Cultural Center on September 10 in Virginia Beach, IPAG received its 11 th standing ovation. A day earlier, audiences gave it another standing ovation in IPAG's Arlington performance attended, among others, by Embassy dignitaries including Philippine Ambassador Willy Gaa who opened the concert with a short speech.

Last week, IPAG regaled Hollywood at the Celebrity International Centre and over 400 delegates of the North American Alpha Omega Fraternity convention at the Universal Hilton.
